woot weekend getaway at Bintan was fun but freaking tiring. Citibank sponsored anyway. Anything free = good. .. I think. lol
Reached Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal at 7 am. Freaking early sia. Didn't sleep much the previous cos I'm scared of oversleeping, so I slept for a brief 30 mins. Ferry departed at 8.10am. Bought a couple bottles of Gin to Bintan, cos planning to celebrate Ethel's bday. Hurhur.
The scenery along the way was nice. But it just had to rain when we reach Bintan. Dammit. I wanna sue Bintan with their brochures. "You say SUNNY BEACHES! WHERE IS THE SUN!' But luckily, the rain stopped after a while. Phew.
Reached Bintan Lagoon at ard 9 and waited over 2 hours doing nothing before lunch was served. Ok, not really nothing. The girls tried to push each other into the sea. And I was supposedly the referee. A super laid back referee. Went for a not so nice buffet lunch, and saw a damn freaking big Gecko-ish lizard in the pond beside our window. Poisonous as well. The bloody tongue was BLACK. Luckily we closed the window, cos it had its nose sticking at the window pane at one point in time. Mel freaked out lol.
Spent the day doing some team building games. My group, Sixy, was damn fun, IMO. We had Angie, Chris, Kat, Win, Kelly, Min, Vega, Cherie, Charmaine, Franza (ex Hi Club president! I was surprised to see her!) and one older lady whose name I did not ask (dunno leh, felt impolite to ask for an elder's name.)
Went for bath and nua-ing in hotel room, while waiting for dinner. Doreen disappeared for hours after that, and we were all trying to contact her. End up she was with Khai. lol. After the better-than-lunch BBQ dinner (the pasta sux, though), we 'kope' the juices for mixer later. Haha. Went back room to nua and Doreen disappeared again. Headed over to Zhengbin and Don's room for drinking session with the rest of the shifters. Pwnage. I have never seen how 2 bottles of Gin can make so many pple drunk. Maybe cos we didn't have ice and ran out of mixers. Haha. Vega was hugging the TV and feeding it biscuits! omg. And I got tau pok-ed, in BINTAN. WTH. Celebrated Ethel's bday. HAPPY 23RD BIRTHDAY ETHELLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL
